Supplemental Materials

Module 3: Embracing Your Unique ManeBelow is a list of supplemental materials to be used throughout the course. Some of the materials are used daily, like the Course Checklist and Daily Check In, while others are used as-needed.

You may find it helpful to print and put them in an easily accessible place. Three-ringed binders work well.

Course Checklist: Refer to this checklist for order of weekly activities. Print and put it somewhere easily accessible. Mark each item as you complete it.

Personal Bill of Rights: These are your basic human rights. Print them, put them somewhere easily accessible. Refer to these whenever you’re feeling down or in doubt about how to respond to a situation.

How are you feeling: Keep this list of feelings easily accessible and refer to it when you’re not sure what you’re feeling. If you can feel it, you can heal it. Many times we don’t know what we’re feeling because we don’t have the language for it.

Self Reflection (OPTIONAL):  Read one self reflection each day. In addition, perform the corresponding action each day for the next 30 days. Self reflection is a powerful way to get to know yourself better and identify those things you want to change.

VERY IMPORTANT! Keep a daily journal: Invest in a notebook. Write anything that comes to mind– epiphanies  progress, joy, gratitude, anger or hurt. The focus should be to get your FEELINGS out of you so you can think clearly, act accordingly and feel more at peace. I can’t stress enough the importance of doing this. Writing is one of those small acts that pays HUGE dividends. If you don’t already have a journal or notebook, you can purchase PURCHASE ONE HERE. There are lots of designs to choose from.
